Giveaway

I love everything handmade - food (yum!), cards and gifts. Why? Because the thought that someone put their heart and soul into making something means a lot to me. This is one of the reasons why I enjoy making and giving handmade greeting cards. A friend of mine introduced me to Etsy. I heard about Etsy before, but I never gave it a second thought. After perusing Etsy, I decided to open my own Etsy store, 2inspire Designs.

To celebrate the opening of my store, I want to pay it forward by giving away this book, The Business of Bliss, hardcover edition. I had always wanted to have a part time business and this book provided me with a spark of twinspiration! I work full time in the field of finance, so my part time business had to be something creative, something I was passionate about, and most important, it had to be fun. I enjoyed reading the stories of these women who turned their creative works into a businesses.

Here's my favorite quote in the book,
"I get a lot back from sharing what I create."

For a chance to get this book, comment on this post. I know there are many of you who visit because I see the number of hits jump each week. I'd love to hear from you. I will randomly pick a name a week from today. If I pick your name, I'll post your name here on Easter Sunday. Thanks for visiting. Be twinspired!

DIY wedding invitations

I had fun making this sample wedding invitation.

Ideal for save-the-date cards or an engagement party invite.

I used white embossing powder on the lacy border stamped image
and a crystal adhesive for the engagement ring.

Here's a close up of the invitation cover.

A Cup of Coffee

Coffee has certainly come a long way.
Whatever happened to just "cream or sugar?"

Here are a couple of hot and steamy note cards.

I used white embossing powder on vellum.
